Email Policy

This Email Policy is effective as of March 15, 2013

1. Acceptance of Terms

The use of email services provided by Blitz Technology Group, LLC, hereafter referred to as “HostBlitz,” constitutes the user’s agreement to the terms outlined in this policy. For information on data handling, please refer to our Privacy Policy. Additional terms are available in our Terms and Conditions.

2. Usage Limits

• Hourly Limit: There is a 100 outgoing email hourly limit per domain. Exceeding this limit may result in bounced emails.
• Connection Limit: Our servers limit POP3/IMAP checks to 30 per hour per user IP address. Exceeding this may lead to temporary access denial.
• Mailing List Size: Mailing lists larger than 500 addresses require a dedicated server or VPS hosting solution from us.

3. Mailing List Rules

• Throttling: Users must throttle email sending. We recommend sending 1 email every 30 seconds. Failure to do so may result in suspension.
• Off-Peak Sending: Mailing lists over 100 addresses must only be sent during off-peak times to prevent high server loads.
• Double Opt-In: Lists must be double opt-in. Users must explicitly request to join and confirm their email address.
• Compliance: All mailing lists must comply with U.S. government guidelines, available at FTC.gov.
• SMTP Restrictions: Direct SMTP mailers are not allowed.

4. Prohibited Activities

• Sending unsolicited emails or spam is strictly prohibited and may result in suspension or termination.
• Any activity that threatens the stability of our servers is not allowed.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

HostBlitz does not warrant the email service being uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. HostBlitz expressly disclaims all warranties and conditions of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall HostBlitz be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses (even if HostBlitz has been advised of the possibility of such damages), resulting from: (i) the use or the inability to use the service; (ii) unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data; (iii) statements or conduct of any third party on the service; or (iv) any other matter relating to the service.

7. Modification of Terms

HostBlitz reserves the right to update and change the Email Policy without notice. Continued service use after such changes shall constitute your consent to such changes.
